CAMP HOST POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR ALL-SEASONS

Camp Hosting is one of the most enjoyable ways to enjoy full-time RV living! Work exchange is a win-win opportunity for everyone included and the main focus is making sure campers have an enjoyable experience.

COUPLES

Currently, we are most in need of Camp Host couples, so one can greet guests while the other uses their skills to work around the park.

          â€‹â€‹

POSSIBLE DUTIES:

Each Camp Host couple comes with different skills, so schedules can vary.  We always need help checking guests in and having sites ready.

You can always trade time with other camp hosts.   You will likely need to be available in the afternoons to greet guests, then have 2 or 3 days off a week.   There should be plenty for you to do, as we try to keep a master list going.    Some times of the year are slower than others.

Typical weekly tasks:

  • Turn on and Adjust sprinklers in your assigned watering zone.

  • Clean Restrooms and laundry room.  Sweep around the building or hose off bird droppings.

  • Clean up after the wild horses!

  • Fall leaf blowing or raking.  Spring planters or garden help.

  • Departure sites:  Breakers should be in the off position. Sites that have the WIFI repeaters need to be left on.

  • Noon Arrivals:  Have sites ready.  Sweep or use water hose if needed.  No sticky tables.

  • Mowing, weed eating or weed pulling, as needed.  Current Camp Hosts usually take care of mowing.

  • Tuesday is trash day.  Truck comes at 10 AM.  Please have trash collected.

  • If you are helping out in the office, weekly sweep & dust.    Hand out quarters.

  • Campsite:  Please keep your site  neat and tidy campsite ! No mess outside of your rig please!

  • SMOKING: While on duty, smoking is not permitted around the guests or while driving cart.                                                                               You can smoke in You are more than welcome to take smoke breaks at the shop or at your own site.

  • Please wear a decent shirt and look respectable.  We want to portray a professional and respectful look with our guests.

This park is a wonderful, relaxing place, but it keeps us busy too.  Preference will go to couples so one can check in guest

and clean the Bath House, while the other has some skills to work on projects, irrigation or equipment.
